Project Title

Research on cryptographic protocols in large-scale distributed systems

Outline of Research

We will investigate a wide range of methods that have been proposed so far for security analysis methods for large-scale distributed security such as cryptocurrencies and blockchains. In particular, we will focus on properties and security that are difficult to grasp in the framework of multi-party computation that has been performed in the conventional field of cryptography, such as considering the use of communication channels with delays. Furthermore, we try to take into consideration some situations that include uncertainties such as differences in the behavior of each participant in the methods proposed so far.
